A typical example of non metallic bead blasting,used here to remove surface imperfections and marks on large titanium valve castings. The castings were brought into us after heat treatment, and following our blasting process they then went on to be 100% X-ray checked for internal cast imperfections. The Valves will eventually be used as part of the complex hydraulic systems aboard the new range of aircraft carriers currently being produced.
Surface Technik was first established back in 1985. Since then the company has grown considerably and we have now established ourselves as one of the market leaders in shot blasting and anti-corrosive treatments in the UK.
